An annual bliss trip to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont to savor the beauty of nature at the hight of the summer.  Delicious organic and fresh home-cooked meals makes this yoga and massage retreat off the charts!

Friday, August 15th – Sunday, August, 17th, 2014 at Sky Meadow Retreat Center, Stannard, VT.

At the height of the summer, gift yourself a memorable retreat in the enchanting northeast kingdom of Vermont. Three seasoned yoga instructors are joining arms to share their knowledge and experience of yoga. The weekend will include classes in Thai Yoga Massage, Yin Yoga, and Anusara Yoga to create a rich experience for all. Nourish your body, mind, and heart with Sky Meadow’s homemade delicious vegetarian food, mountain-scape, meditation nooks, and refreshing swimming pond. The classes, meals and lodgings will all be held in a large, rustic, renovated barn.

3:30-4:00 – Opening Circle
4:00-6:00 – Thai Yoga Massage Class
6:15-7:15 – Dinner
7:15-7:45 – Sky Meadow Orientation
8:00-9:30 – Yin Yoga Practice (while receiving Thai Massage!)
Saturday 8/16
7am-7:45 Open Meditation
8:00-9:00 Breakfast
10:00-12:00 Morning Yoga Practice
12:30-1:30 Lunch
2:00-4:00 – Open Time/Optional Wild Plant Walk!
4:00-6:00 – Thai Yoga Massage Class
6:15-7:15 – Dinner
8:00-9:30 Yin Yoga Practice (while receiving Thai Massage!)
Sunday 8/17
7:30-9:00 – Morning Yoga Practice
9:30-10:30 – Breakfast
1030-1230 – Open Time/Clean up
12:30-1:30 – Lunch

Instructor Bios :

DIANA SEILER, BS, LMT, brings an educational background of Art, Yoga, Thai Massage, and numerous other massage modalities, along with her love for dance and play, into the classroom. She has been a massage instructor at the Finger Lakes School of Massage (FLSM) in Mount Kisco since it’s opening in 2008, teaching a variety of massage modalities/classes. She is a graduate of the FLSM (Ithaca campus) and has studied Thai Massage with numerous teachers at the Lotus Palm School and the Thai Massage Circus in Laos, and more recently Pam Herrick of Bamboo Thai Massage. She has a BS in Fine/Visual Arts from SUNY New Paltz and is a lifelong student of Permaculture. Diana passionately advocates for Earth care and connecting others with their innate source, nature. Her specialties are Integrative Therapeutic Massage, utilizing Deep Tissue and Movement Therapy techniques, and Thai Yoga Massage. She offers these with faithful presence and gentle care to her clients. Diana recognizes the incredible power of self-knowledge and is committed to supporting others as they unfold into their highest potential.

STEPHANIE ROSE BIFOLCO, MSW, RYT, is a Certified Anusara-Inspired Yoga Teacher and a nature-based Nutrition and Lifestyle Specialist. Her vision is to teach yoga, diet, and lifestyle based on the principles of nature for individual, community, and planetary healing. Her yoga classes are a mixture of hatha and vinyasa styles of yoga, with a focus on breath to calm and cleanse the body and mind and alignment to awaken the heart and spirit. Stephanie blogs about nature, yoga, and healthy eating on her website
Stephanie’s love of nature, passion for living sustainably, and desire to serve the yoga community led her to live and teach yoga full-time in the Hudson Valley. Originally from New York City, Stephanie lived in Peru for over 2 years as a Peace Corps volunteer, and later worked for over 6 years as a Social Worker and advocate of workers rights, women’s rights, and immigrant rights in cities throughout the East Coast and Mexico. A lover of travel, yoga, and health, Stephanie sees being in nature and doing wellness in community as a necessary step to achieve positive social change on the planet.

ERIC CONDEVAUX is a lover of nature and art in all forms, and practices this love through yoga, cooking, music, gardening, and nutrition. Alongside his work as a personal chef and studies as a graduate-student in Nutrition, he enjoys sharing his interests in yoga, music, poetry, plants, and multi-media sculpture. Eric worked at The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY for two years, and continues to be involved with their musical offerings and summer camp for teenagers. While working at the Omega Institute Eric studied Yin Yoga with Biff Mithoefer, and fell in love with its potential for meditation, insight, body-awareness, and rejuvenation. Through a fusion of the mind-, body-, and spiritual-arts, Eric attempts to blend his artistic sides with his scientific lens to present a truly holistic approach to health and vitality.
