door at dharma doorMid-Summer (Lammas or Lughnasa) is a time of ripeness and fullness. The first harvests have been gathered, the grapes hang ripe on the vine and the garden is a tangle and overflowing with lushness and life.

We will honor this important and sacred festival (the midpoint between summer solstice and fall equinox) by aligning with the heat and abundance of mid summer. Together we will practice yoga to channel this fire to ignite our personal and planetary visions, both large and small, into manifestation. We will look at important keys for bringing clarity to our visions, as well as concrete and effective ways to brings dreams and wishes into reality through the cosmic yet accesible ‘law of attraction’.

In the morning Anjali and Stephanie will lead students through a practice, journaling, sharing, and silent contemplation, to manifest abundance into our lives.  There will be afternoon restorative practice and meditation to rest and nurture ourselves, integrating all that we have already harvested in our lives.  The goal is to bring clarity to our inner visions and cultivate new visions for the next cycle of transformation.

This retreat will include yoga classes, heart-felt group sharing, earth-based ritual and abundant space for retreat, rest and quiet contemplation.
