Early Bird Registration Deadline is January 15.

The sooner you book the better in terms of getting your first choice of accommodations.

Anjali Budreski and Stephanie Bifolco return to Tulum, Mexico for this fourth annual Mythical Yoga Retreat. Our retreat will be held at the world-renowned Maya Tulum Wellness Retreat and Spa, right on the gorgeous Tulum beach & within biking distance to the magical Tulum Ruins. This is Anjali’s 5th trip to this particular part of Mexico so you will be in good hands with her wealth of first-hand knowledge about the areas culture, people, food, hidden spots, and all you need to know to have a safe & sacred time in this little corner of the Yucatan Peninsula.  Stephanie has both lived and worked in Mexico, is a well-seasoned world traveller, is fluent in Spanish, and has a deep knowledge and appreciation of Latin culture and the issues facing Mexican people today.

We both welcome you to JOIN US for an amazing journey through the sacred stories and myths of the Gods and Goddesses of yoga.  Set to the backdrop of crystal blue ocean views, warm sandy beaches and sweet salty air we will come together in practice three times each day to calm, center, open, cleanse and strengthen our subtle body.  You will learn about some of the amazing heroic and beautiful tales of Hindu and Mayan Mythology and how these tales can guide us on our own personal journeys.  As one of our favorite teachers always reminds us, ‘You are every character in the story.’  With the skilled guidance of your compassionate leaders, you will leave this retreat with a powerful imprint of life-affirming love and joy in your heart for years to come including:  Deeper clarity about your life’s vision and purpose, a greater sense of well-being and empowerment, increased joy and deeper calm, and a more relaxed and vibrant body, mind and spirit.  You will also be given many opportunities to release limiting beliefs and patterns and open to a newer and  truer alignment with your spirit.  For those who are returning students, get ready for some wonderful NEW myths and tales this year; you will not be disappointed!

What to expect on retreat? You will awaken to the rising sun and begin each day with a sunrise meditation or labyrinth walk, followed by a healthy and abundant breakfast buffet including plenty of protein options, coffee and tea and loads of fresh, exotic tropical fruits and juices. After a short rest, we practice up-tempo yoga, focusing on one of the Gods or Goddesses and their stories and particularly how their stories inform our own wild and precious lives. Their themes will be woven right into our yoga classes.  Lunch will be served mid-day, followed by plenty of free time, and a restorative, therapeutic, or gentle yoga class in the afternoon. We’ll enjoy candle-lit dinners as a group overlooking the sea, followed by free time after dinner in the evening.  All meals are a generous buffet with many options to choose from.  All special foods needs will be taken care of by the talented and friendly kitchen staff.

Additional activities include: Walking a labyrinth made of coral, trips to Mayan ruins, enjoying the local culture and people, biking the Tulum ‘strip’ of amazing little boutiques selling locally made crafts, Temazcal (traditional mayan sweat lodge), amazing body-work and healing treatments in Maya Tulum’s world-renowned spa, visits to local Cenotes (Refreshing, natural, fresh-water pools) and don’t forget one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mexican Coast. Paradise awaits you!  Extras like body treatments and excursions are not included in the cost of this retreat.

Retreat Includes:
• hotel accommodations, well appointed private bathrooms with hot water and purified water, Wi-Fi internet access in the common areas, yoga rooms, open air seaside dining hall and beautiful beachfront lounging areas
• Three healthy, delicious meals daily (chicken or fresh fish & vegetarian options)
• 2 daily yoga practices plus sunrise meditation (on most days) and casual lectures/talks with Certified Yoga Teachers Anjali Budreski and Stephanie Bifolco.
